Retinal Detachment Surgery in London

Background

Having trained in large teaching hospitals and tertiary referral centres in London, Miss Sirha was taught by some of the most proficient and highly regarded specialists. Moving to Berkshire for a better quality of life for her family, she is passionate about delivering the same high quality and standard of care to women in the surrounding area. She leads in the application of a novel model of gynaecological care that uses high quality diagnostics in one a ‘one stop’ setting facilitating rapid diagnosis and initiation of treatment. She has as strong belief that a large proportion of benign gynaecological conditions can be managed without surgery providing an accurate diagnosis and understanding of the condition is reached. She uses techniques such as manual vacuum aspiration and outpatient hysteroscopy to support this.

Miss Sirha focuses on delivering evidenced based care with an emphasis on providing a holistic approach. She is known for working with her patients to develop a unique individualized care package as she recongnises everyone’s experience and priorities are different. She is keen to improve access to secondary care in a community setting to allow her patients to consultant a specialist closer to home and in the comfort of familiar settings.

Miss Sirha is involved in continuous service improvement and has headed a number of projects resulting in an improved patient experience.
